It will give food workers a good understanding of their responsibilities under Irish Food Safety Law.

Who Should Attend This Course

  • New employees with no previous food handling experience
  • Food workers performing low risk duties eg. kitchen porters/cleaners
  • Food workers with light food handling duties
  • All food handlers who are seasonal/occasional workers/voluntary workers ​​

EHAI Primary Course in Food Safety Level 2

This very popular course trains food workers in the knowledge and skills of Food Safety and HACCP. It is designed by Environmental Health Officers and is recognized as Gold Standard by Employers and Enforcement Authorities.
​It complies with the Legal Obligation (EC) 852/2004 that all food workers be trained, commensurate with their work activities. It is also aligned to the FSAI Level 2 guidelines.

  • All food handlers – Chefs, Catering Assistants, and supervisors
  • Anyone handling food for public consumption
  • Anyone wishing to comply with the legal obligation for training

Allergen Awareness Training
